1. A method of communicating in a wireless network comprising:
- receiving, by a station, a wireless communication from a relay, the wireless communication including a Media Access Control (MAC) address of an access point;
generating, by the station, an association request, the association request including the MAC address of the access point in a final destination address field;
encrypting, by the station, the association request based on a MAC address of the station and the MAC address of the access point;
wherein encrypting the association request further comprises computing a nonce based on the MAC address of the access point; and
transmitting, by the station, the encrypted association request to the relay for delivery to the access point.

Abstract
Systems, methods, and devices for communicating data in a wireless communications network are described herein. One innovative aspect of the present disclosure includes a method of communicating in a wireless network. The method includes encrypting a message based, at least in part, on an original source address, and a final destination address. The method further includes transmitting the encrypted message to a relay for delivery to the final destination address.
