1. A method of treating a thrombus mass within a human vessel, comprising:

  • inserting a treatment device into the human vessel, the treatment device comprising a procedure sheath, an expandable infusion segment, and an expandable capture sheath,wherein the expandable infusion segment comprises a plurality of expandable arms and a plurality of fluid channels, each of the plurality of expandable arms further include flexible polymer tubing and at least one pressure responsive infusion port,wherein each of the plurality of expandable arms contain at least one support element made from a memory shape metal and extends co-axially along each of the plurality of fluid channels, the at least one support element has a first shape and a second shape, the first shape being closer to a longitudinal axis of the expandable infusion segment than the second shape, andwherein at least one of the plurality of fluid channels is in fluid communication with the at least one pressure responsive infusion port, the at least one pressure responsive infusion port designed to open under a predetermined pressure;

    inserting the treatment device through an outer sheath, the at least one support element being in the first shape when the outer sheath is in a position toward a distal end of the treatment device and the at least one support element automatically expanding to the second shape when the outer sheath is moved toward a proximal end of the treatment device;

    advancing the expandable infusion segment to the thrombus mass;

    delivering a first amount of fluid through the at least one pressure responsive infusion port to a site of the thrombus mass while the expandable infusion segment is at a first diameter;

    manipulating the expandable infusion segment to mechanically disrupt the thrombus mass, the expandable infusion segment contacting the thrombus mass to disrupt and separate the thrombus mass from a vessel wall after delivering the first amount of fluid; and

    retracting the expandable infusion segment in a proximal direction, the expandable infusion segment bringing the thrombus mass into the expandable capture sheath for removal of the thrombus mass from the vessel.
