1. A method of making a sugar-containing product, the method comprising:
- adding a blend of sugars comprising xylose and glucose to at least one other ingredient to form a product,wherein the sugar blend is obtained from enzymatically saccharified cellulosic or lignocellulosic biomass having a source xylose and glucose ratio, wherein the xylose/glucose ratio of the sugar blend is the same ratio as the source cellulosic or lignocellulosic biomass, andwherein the product is selected from a cosmetic product, oral care product, therapeutic product, nutraceutical product, diagnostic product, beverage, animal food product, or human food product.
