1. A content sharing system for sharing content among attendees at first and second different locations, at least a first attendee subset including attendees at the first location using portable computing devices that operate as content source devices and at least a second attendee subset including attendees at the second location using portable computing devices that operate as content source devices, the system comprising:
- a communication network;
a first content sharing configuration including at least a first large common display screen having at least a first display surface, a first processor and a first interface, the first processor linkable to the at least a first large common display screen via the network, the network linkable to the portable computing devices used by the first attendee subset for receiving content therefrom, the first interface linked to the first processor for controlling content presented on the at least a first display surface;
a second content sharing configuration including at least a second large common display screen having at least a second display surface, a second processor and a second interface, the second processor linkable to the at least a second large common display screen via the network, the network linkable to the portable computing devices used by the second attendee subset for receiving content therefrom, the second interface linked to the second processor for controlling content presented on the at least a second display surface;
wherein the first and second processors are linked via the network and programmed to present substantially identical content on the at least a first display surface and the at least a second display surface as the first and second interfaces are used to alter content on the first and second display surfaces.

21. A system comprising a first collaboration configuration including at least a first display having a display surface, a user input device and a processor, the processor configured with logic to:
-
establish communication with one or more other collaboration configurations; store at least a first collaboration session data set including objects arranged in juxtapositions relative to each other; map at least a first object sub-group from the first collaboration session data set to at least a first display portion of the physical display surface and render the mapped objects onto the first display portion; accept input data from the user input device modifying the first object sub-group on the screen space; and send messages indicating modification to the first object sub-group to at least one of the other collaboration configurations. - View Dependent Claims (22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28)
