1. A wearable device comprising:
- a short-range transceiver configured to communicate data between the wearable device and a personal device via a short-range channel;
an ultra short-range transceiver configured to communicate data between the wearable device and a transaction device via an ultra short-range channel; and
a processor configured to;
transmit to the personal device a request for transaction completion information associated with the transaction device and user authentication information that authenticates a user to the transaction device;
receive an encryption key from the personal device;
receive the transaction completion information and the user authentication information from the personal device, wherein the transaction completion information and the user authentication information are encrypted according to an encryption algorithm associated with the encryption key;
decrypt the transaction completion information and the user authentication information according to the encryption key; and
transmit, by the wearable device, via an ultra short-range transceiver through an ultra short-range channel the transaction completion information and the user authentication information to the transaction device.

Abstract
The methods, apparatuses and systems described herein provide a system for authenticating users, authorization or information during secure transactions. The system may include a transaction device requiring user authentication, a personal communication device, and a wearable authentication device that communicates with both of the other devices. In one aspect, the wearable authentication device may be configured to communicate with the transaction device requiring authentication and the personal communication device through one or more wireless communication technologies, wherein the wearable authentication device may be configured to act as an intermediary between the transaction device and the personal communication device to facilitate the exchange of at least one authentication information or transaction completion information between the personal communication device and the transaction device.
