1. A system comprising:
- a plurality of power quality devices configured to continuously measure and buffer power quality data including at least one of RMS voltage, RMS current, real, reactive and apparent power, power factor, displacement power factor, phase angle, harmonic magnitudes and phases, interharmonics, IFL, PST, and Plt flicker, symmetrical components, phasors, aggregating triggered waveforms, and transients;
the plurality of power quality devices are further configured to compress and transmit the buffered power quality data; and
one or more cloud-based servers communicatively coupled to the plurality of power quality devices, the one or more cloud-based servers configured to;
receive the buffered power quality data transmitted by the plurality of power quality devices;
decompress and store the buffered power quality data in a database or a file system; and
display on a web page one or more of a stripchart, daily profile, histogram, waveform, vector diagram, harmonic bar chart, and 3D harmonic graph generated using the stored data,wherein the one or more cloud-based servers are further configured to transmit at least one email or SMS message to a user responsive to receiving a trigger condition from one or more of the plurality of power quality devices.

Abstract
A system includes a plurality of power quality devices for continuously measuring and buffering power quality data and transmitting the buffered power quality data on a periodic basis and one or more cloud-based servers communicatively coupled to the plurality of power quality devices. The one or more cloud-based servers are operable to: receive the buffered data transmitted by the power quality devices; decompress and store the buffered data in a database; and display on a web page one or more of a stripchart, daily profile, histogram, waveform, vector diagram, harmonic bar chart, and 3D harmonic graph generated using the stored data. The system also includes one or more computing devices communicatively coupled to the plurality of power quality devices and the one or more cloud-based servers.

10. A computer-implemented method, the method comprising:

receiving with one or more cloud-based servers, from a first power quality device, power quality data comprising at least one of an RMS voltage, an RMS current, a power factor, a displacement power factor, a phase angle, harmonic magnitudes and phases, interharmonics, IFL, PST, and Plt flicker, symmetrical components, phasors, aggregated triggered waveforms, and transients approximately every five minutes; displaying a map on a web page generated by the one or more cloud-based servers, wherein the map comprises a marker indicating a location of the first power quality device and a second power quality device; displaying on the web page generated by the one or more cloud-based servers at least one chart or graph showing one or more of the RMS voltage, the RMS current, the power factor, the displacement power factor, the phase angle, the harmonic magnitudes and phases, the interharmonics, the IFL, the PST, and Plt flicker, the symmetrical components, the phasors, the aggregated triggered waveforms, and the transients; receiving with the one or more cloud-based servers, from the first power quality device, a triggered condition alert; identifying with the one or more cloud-based servers at least one related event based on data received from the second power quality device; and sending an email or an SMS message to a user responsive to receiving the triggered condition alert from the first power quality device with the one or more cloud-based servers. - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16)

a plurality of power quality devices configured to continuously measure and buffer power quality data; the plurality of power quality devices configured to compress and transmit the buffered power quality data on a periodic basis; one or more cloud-based servers communicatively coupled to the plurality of power quality devices, the one or more cloud-based servers configured to; receive the buffered data transmitted by the power quality devices; decompress and store the buffered data in a database; display on a web page one or more of a stripchart, daily profile, histogram, waveform, vector diagram, harmonic bar chart, and 3D harmonic graph generated using the stored data; and one or more computing devices communicatively coupled to the plurality of power quality devices and the one or more cloud-based servers, the one or more computing devices configured to receive at least one user input to the web page, wherein the one or more cloud-based servers are further configured decimate the buffered data to generate decimated power quality data; and wherein the one or more cloud-based servers are configured to display the one or more of the stripchart, daily profile, histogram, waveform, vector diagram, harmonic bar chart, and 3D harmonic graph responsive to receiving a request for the one or more stripchart, daily profile, histogram, waveform, vector diagram, harmonic bar chart, and 3D harmonic graph based on the at least one user input to the web page.
