- a sample tube configured to receive a specimen of breath from a person, the sample tube comprising a capacitive contact able to capacitively couple a signal from a body of the person providing the specimen of breath, wherein the signal represents a code associated with the person using the breathalyzer to provide the specimen of breath;
a receiver configured to receive, from the capacitive contact, the signal representing the code; and
a controller configured to determine the code from the signal.
