1. A method, comprising:
- receiving, by and within a processing environment of a message client, a message from a sender;
linking, by the processing environment, distinctive metadata for the sender to the message; and
configuring, by the processing environment, the distinctive metadata for processing by the message client of a recipient that receives the message, and presenting different levels of detail for the distinctive metadata when the message is brought into focus within the message client by integrating the distinctive metadata as features of the message client and dynamically altering some of the distinctive metadata within the message client, wherein configuring further includes providing a dynamic portion of the distinctive metadata as a selectable hypertext link that permits the dynamically altering of the some of the distinctive metadata within the message client.
