Dynamical time division duplex uplink and downlink configuration in a communications network
First Claim
1. At least one non-transitory machine readable storage medium having instructions embodied thereon for processing a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for transmission from an evolved Node B (eNB) to a user equipment (UE), the instructions when executed by one or more processors perform the following:
- determining, at the eNB, a set of configuration indication fields numbered 1 to N, included in a downlink control information (DCI) format Y carried on the PDCCH, where

Abstract
A technology is disclosed for an evolved Node B (eNB). The eNB can determine a set of configuration indication fields numbered 1 to N, included in a downlink control information (DCI) format Y carried on the PDCCH, where
Lformat Y is equal to a payload size of the DCI format Y, and M is a number of bits of each indication field. The eNB can map the DCI format Y onto the PDCCH. The eNB can encode for transmission from to the UE the PDCCH with a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by an enhanced interference mitigation and traffic adaptation (eIMTA) Radio-Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) for the UE.

10. At least one non-transitory machine readable storage medium having instructions embodied thereon for reconfiguring a time division duplex (TDD) uplink and downlink configuration at a user equipment (UE), the instructions when executed by one or more processors perform the following:
decoding, at the UE, an uplink and downlink (UL/DL) configuration indication received from an eNB for a TDD reconfiguration, the UL/DL configuration indication comprising a set of configuration indication fields numbered 1 to N, included in a downlink control information (DCI) format Y carried on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), where - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16)

17. An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) operable to modify an uplink/ downlink (UL/DL) configuration, the apparatus comprising:
-
one or more processors configured to; request a radio resource control (RRC) connection with an eNodeB; signal a UE Capability information element (IE) for transmission to the eNodeB, wherein the UE Capability IE indicates an enhanced interference mitigation and traffic adaptation (eIMTA) capability of the UE to support an eIMTA time duplex domain (TDD) UL/DL reconfiguration functionality; and process eIMTA configuration information received from the eNodeB via a radio resource control (RRC) message, wherein the eIMTA configuration information is received in response to signaling the UE Capability IE to the eNodeB; and memory configured to store the eIMTA configuration information. - View Dependent Claims (18, 19, 20, 21, 22)
