1. A method of identifying Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) nucleic acid in a biological sample, comprising:
- a) contacting a biological sample from a subject with at least two nucleic acid primer pairs selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOS;
1-4, 7 and 8 and at least two probes selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOS;
5, 6 and 9, andb) detecting the binding of said nucleic acid primer or probe to said MTB nucleic acid.
