- a shroud mechanically adapted to be removably and replacably mounted to a see-through display system adapted to be worn on the head of a user;
the shroud further adapted to, when mounted on the see-through display system, suppress light emitted from the see-through display system and suppress surrounding environment light from entering sides of the see-through display systemwherein the system further comprises a peripheral light effects system adapted to effect peripheral light effects in coordination with content presented in a field of view.
