A medical kiosk configured to provide tele-med services to a user, said medical kiosk including a kiosk structure, a user display conferencing system and a plurality of medical devices, said user display conferencing system configured for the user to have a real-time or near real-time tele-conference with a medical provider located remotely from said medical kiosk, said user display conferencing system including first and second display screens, a camera, a microphone and a computer system and videoconferencing software, said first display screen configured to display said medical provider during a display conference between said user and said medical provider, said second display screen configured for said user to view information other than information displayed on said first display screen, said first and second display screens positioned on said kiosk such that said user can simultaneously view said first and second display screens, said computer system and videoconferencing software including electronic hardware and software to form a video connection between said medical kiosk and the remotely located medical provider so that the remotely located medical provider is displayed in real-time or near real-time on said first display screen, said kiosk structure housing said user display conferencing system and said plurality of medical devices, said kiosk structure housing including a panel that supports said first and second display screens, said panel including a desk top that supports said second display screen, said first display screen spaced above said desk top, said plurality of medical devices is configured for use by the user to provide information to the medical provider about the user to enable the medical provider to provide real-time or near real-time medical advice to the user while the user is in said kiosk, said plurality of medical devices including one or more devices selected from the group consisting of a stethoscope, otoscope, thermometer, dermascope, spirometer, blood pressure cuff, pulse oximeter, heating pad, magnifying glass, tongue depressor, tweezers, blood glucometer, audiometer, and a 3-lead EKG;
- anda plurality of medical compartments, each of said medical compartments including at least one of said medical devices that is different from any other of said medical devices located in any other of said remotely controlled medical compartments, each of said medical compartments includes a movable and lockable door that limits access to said at least one medical device in said medical compartment, said door moveable between a closed position and an open position, said closed position of said door limiting access to said medical device in said medical compartment, said open position providing access to said medical device in said medical compartment, at least one of said medical compartments includes an automatic opening arrangement to cause said door to move from said closed position to said open position, said automatic opening arrangement causing said door to move from said closed position to said open position as a result of one or more events selected from the group consisting of a) said medical provider selecting said door of said medical compartment, and b) the user progresses through a certain point in a vitals capture program.

9. A method for providing a real-time or near real-time tele-conference with a medical provider located remotely from a medical kiosk and a user located at the medical kiosk, said method comprising the steps of:
- a. providing the medical kiosk, said medical kiosk including a user display conferencing system and a plurality of medical devices, said user display conferencing system configured for the user to have a real-time or near real-time tele-conference with the medical provider located remotely from said medical kiosk, said user display conferencing system including first and second display screens, a camera, and a microphone, said first display screen configured to display said medical provider during a tele-conference between the user and said medical provider, said second display screen configured for the user to view information other than information displayed on said first display screen, said first and second display screens positioned on said kiosk such that the user can simultaneously view said first and second display screens, said plurality of medical devices is configured for use by the user to provide information to the medical provider about the user to enable the medical provider to provide real-time or near real-time medical advice to the user while the user is in said kiosk, said plurality of medical devices including one or more devices selected from the group consisting of a stethoscope, otoscope, thermometer, dermascope, spirometer, blood pressure cuff, pulse oximeter, heating pad, magnifying glass, tongue depressor, tweezers, blood glucometer, audiometer, and a 3-lead EKG;
b) providing one or more applications selected from the group consisting of an attendant application, an appointment application, a provider application, a schedule application, a patient portal application, medical adherence application, an administrator application, and a provider portal application;
said attendant application includes software and/or hardware configured for an attendant to
1) monitor, modify and/or cancel existing appointments for the medical kiosk,
2) monitor whether the user requires assistance,
3) monitor and/or assist the user during registration with the medical kiosk,
4) provide procedures and/or checklists for the attendant, and/or

1) viewing appointments that have been completed by the medical provider or are in progress for a certain day,
2) viewing appointments that have been made for a future time,
3) displaying one or more types of user appointment information, said user appointment information including information selected from the group consisting of time of appointment, user names, status of appointment, user payment status, user checked-in status, vitals collection status, status of display consultation, status of data entry by the medical provider regarding display consultation, and status of appointment
4) displaying a record about the user, such record information selected from the group consisting of user name, user date of birth, user sex, user symptoms, user medical conditions, date of last visit, diagnosis, allergies, medications, prior visit record of the user, and medical records of the user,
5) notifying the attendant that the user requires assistance,
6) limiting access to the user'"'"'s information,
7) refusing an appointment that has been created for the medical provider,

3) enabling the medical provider to switch to a new medical provider and view and contact the new medical provider while not being viewed by the user in the medical kiosk, and
