1. A method for performing, by a user equipment, physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission in a time domain transmission unit, the method comprising:
- receiving frequency hopping on/off information through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) carrying scheduling information for the PUSCH transmission; and
performing the PUSCH transmission on a resource block in the time domain transmission unit according to a predetermined hopping pattern if the frequency hopping on/off information indicates a frequency hopping on,wherein the predetermined hopping pattern is defined by a subband hopping performed over subbands and a mirroring on/off, andwherein the subband hopping is defined using a first integer obtained from a first random sequence, and the mirroring on/off is determined based on a second random sequence separate from the first random sequence.

Abstract
A method for performing uplink transmission in a time domain transmission unit includes receiving, from a base station, hopping-mode information indicating whether a frequency hopping is an inter-slot hopping or an inter-subframe hopping and performing the uplink transmission using a resource block in the time domain transmission unit.
