1. A method for storing information from a website, comprising:

  • at a computing system having memory and one or more processors;

    receiving a request from a user to clip content from a website being presented to the user;

    obtaining clipped content and extracted information from the website in response to the request;

    in response to obtaining the clipped content and extracted information, suggesting one or more notebooks and content tags for the clipped content, including;

    identifying, in a personal database of the user, stored content relevant to at least one of;

    the clipped content, and the extracted information;

    identifying a plurality of notebooks containing the identified relevant content;

    identifying a plurality of content tags from the identified relevant content;

    ranking the plurality of notebooks based at least in part on a frequency of use of each notebook in the plurality of notebooks for the relevant content;

    in accordance with the ranking, causing at least a subset of the plurality of notebooks to be presented to the user as suggested notebooks for storing the clipped content; and

    causing at least a subset of the plurality of content tags to be presented to the user as suggested tags for the clipped content; and

    in response to a user selection of a notebook of the plurality of notebooks, associating the clipped content and extracted information with the selected notebook.
