1. A medical system for assisting a rescuer in resuscitation of a patient comprising:
- a head mounted device comprising a visual display;
a chest compression sensor including one or more accelerometers configured to sense motion associated with cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) chest compressions and to generate one or more signals indicative of chest motion;
a wrist-worn device configured to be disposed on a wrist of the rescuer administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) chest compressions, the wrist-worn device comprising one or more sensors configured to monitor at least one physical parameter of the rescuer;
a patient monitor having at least one processor communicatively coupled to the chest compression sensor, the wrist-worn device, and the head mounted device, the at least one processor configured to;
receive at least one of (i) the one or more signals indicative of the chest motion from the chest compression sensor and (ii) the at least one physical parameter of the rescuer from the wrist-worn device,analyze at least one of (i) the one or more signals indicative of the chest motion from the chest compression sensor and (ii) the at least one physical parameter of the rescuer from the wrist-worn device, anddetermine at least one of whether a quality of the chest compressions has deteriorated, and whether a physical status of the rescuer has declined, anddisplay on the head mounted device, visual feedback comprising an indication of at least one of the deterioration in the quality of the chest compressions, and the decline of the physical status of the rescuer.

29. A method for assisting a rescuer in resuscitation of a patient implemented on at least one processor, comprising:

generating, by a chest compression sensor that includes one or more accelerometers, one or more signals indicative of a chest motion associated with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) chest compressions; monitoring, by a wrist-worn device, at least one physical parameter of the rescuer; determining at least one of whether a quality of the chest compressions has deteriorated, and whether a physical status of the rescuer has declined, wherein the determination of whether the quality of the chest compressions has deteriorated includes; receiving the one or more signals indicative of the chest motion from the chest compression sensor, analyzing the one or more signals to determine at least one chest compression parameter, and wherein the determination of whether the physical status of the rescuer has declined includes; receiving the at least one physical parameter of the rescuer from the wrist-worn device, and analyzing the at least one physical parameter to provide an indication of the physical status of the rescuer, and displaying on a head mounted device, visual feedback comprising an indication of at least one of the deterioration in the quality of chest compressions, and the decline of the physical status of the rescuer. - View Dependent Claims (30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40)
