1. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising a set of instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause a system to:

  • detect a change in location for a mobile platform having a plurality of radios, wherein each of the plurality of radios supports a different wireless technology, and the change in location is based on information received from one or more active radios of the plurality of radios on the mobile platform; and

    activate a Wi-Fi radio in response to the change in location,wherein a first profile is associated with a first location and a second profile is associated with a second location, and the first profile and the second profile include at least user defined connection criteria including entry criteria, exit criteria, and radio settings to define a connection status for the plurality of radios based on the location and to manage a radio based power consumption of the mobile platform.
