a processor configured to receive the data acquired by the at least one data acquisition device and generate a cardiac electrical activation image by reconstructing an activation image of the heart of the subject using a weighted sparse constrained reconstruction weighted by a plurality of weights Wt,l representing temporal weights of time instant t at location grid point j, wherein the reconstruction is sparse in a temporal domain.
