1. A device for intravascular intervention, the device comprising:

  • an intervention element comprising a proximal portion comprising a hole extending therethrough, the proximal portion having a top side, a bottom side, a proximal part, and a middle part, the proximal part having a width greater than a width of the middle part, the middle part being located between the hole and the proximal part;

    an elongate manipulation member extending about a proximal portion of the intervention element, the hooked portion comprising a first segment, a second segment, and a bend between the first and second segments, the first segment and the second segment are located on different sides of the proximal portion, at least one of the first segment or the second segment of the elongate manipulation member having an extending portion extending through the hole and into a region that is (i) between the top side and the bottom side, and (ii) distal to the proximal part, the extending portion and the proximal part being aligned such that a line extending in a proximal-distal direction intersects the extending portion and the proximal part; and

    a joining element substantially permanently attaching the hooked portion to the intervention element.
