1. A medical connector comprising:
- a medical connector body having a distal end configured to connect to a first fluid container, a proximal end configured to connect to a second fluid container, and a sidewall extending between the distal end and the proximal end;
a helical thread extending radially outward from a surface of the sidewall and comprising a crest portion, flank portions, and a root portion, the flank portions connecting the root portion to the crest portion; and
at least one micro-thread extending radially outward from the surface of the sidewall, at least a portion of the micro-thread spaced apart from the helical thread,wherein a radial height of at least one end of the at least one micro-thread tapers in a circumferential direction from a crest portion of the at least one micro-thread to a root portion of the at least one micro-thread that is substantially flush with the sidewall of the medical connector body.
