Abstract

A method for transmitting an uplink signal at a UE in a wireless communication system includes, when a virtual cell ID for a reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink channel is provided, generating a sequence of the reference signal on the basis of the virtual cell ID, and transmitting the generated reference signal to an eNB. A sequence hopping pattern of the reference signal can be determined on the basis of the virtual cell ID.

Claims

1. A method for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), an uplink reference signal, the method comprising:

obtaining, by the UE, a first cell identity and a second cell identity;

generating, by the UE, a first reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the first cell identity;

transmitting, by the UE, the PUCCH and the first reference signal,

generating, by the UE, a second reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based on the second cell identity;

transmitting, by the UE, the PUSCH and the second reference signal;

wherein the first cell identity∈

{0, . . . , 503}, and the second cell identity∈

{0, . . . , 509}.

2. The method according to claim 1,

wherein each of the first and second reference signals is generated using a sequence-shift pattern, and

wherein a sequence-shift pattern f^PUCCH_ss for the first reference signal is determined according to f^PUCCH_ss=‘

the first cell identity’

mod 30, and a sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_ss for the second reference signal is determined according to f^PUSCH_ss=‘

the second cell identity’

mod 30.

3. The method according to claim 2, further comprising:

receiving a higher layer signal including Δ

wherein the sequence-shift pattern f_ss^PUSCH for the second reference signal is determined according to f^PUSCH_ss=‘

wherein the first cell identity is a physical cell identity of a serving cell, and the second cell identity is a virtual cell identity.

5. The method according to claim 4,

wherein the first cell identity is obtained from a synchronization signal of the serving cell.

6. The method according to claim 4,

wherein the second cell identity is provided by a higher layer signal.

7. A user equipment (UE) for transmitting an uplink reference signal, the UE comprising:

a receiver,

a transmitter, and

a processor configured to control the receiver and the transmitter, the processor configured to;

obtain a first cell identity and a second cell identity;

generate a first reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the first cell identity;

control the transmitter to transmit the PUCCH and the first reference signal,

generate a second reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based on the second cell identity;

control the transmitter to transmit the PUSCH and the second reference signal;

wherein the first cell identity∈

{0, . . . , 503}, and the second cell identity∈

{0, . . . , 509}.

8. The UE according to claim 7,

wherein each of the first and second reference signals is generated using a sequence-shift pattern, and

wherein a sequence-shift pattern f^PUCCH_ss for the first reference signal is determined according to f^PUCCH_ss=‘

the first cell identity’

mod 30, and a sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_ss for the second reference signal is determined according to f^PUSCH_ss=‘

the second cell identity’

9. The UE according to claim 7,

wherein the processor is configured to control the receiver to receive a higher layer signal including Δ

wherein the first cell identity is a physical cell identity of a serving cell, and the second cell identity is a virtual cell identity.

12. The UE according to claim 10,

wherein the second cell identity is provided by a higher layer signal.
