1. A system for delivering a viscous material into a site in a patient, comprising:
- an actuator including an actuator vessel and an electric motor;
a delivery tube, having a first end, a second end and an inner bore, wherein the first end is coupled to the actuator;
a plunger housed within the delivery tube, anda container having a connection port for connecting to the second end of the delivery tube and an exit port, and containing a viscous material, wherein the viscous material is a PMMA-based bone cement, andwherein the actuator is adapted to advance the plunger.
