1. A method for monitoring a user, the method comprising:
- receiving, by at least one receiver module, a plurality of indicators from a user monitor device distinct from the at least one receiver module, the plurality of indicators including at least one indicator corresponding to a physical condition of the user and a location indicator corresponding to a geographical location of the user as monitored by the user monitor device;
identifying, by the at least one receiver module, a boundary for the location indicator, the boundary including a plurality of geographical locations dynamically configurable by the at least one receiver module;
comparing, by the at least one receiver module, the location indicator and the boundary;
generating, by the at least one receiver module, an alert when the comparison indicates that the boundary has been crossed by the user, the alert including the location indicator and the at least one indicator corresponding to a physical condition; and
transmitting, by the at least one receiver module, the alert.

The method includes the steps of receiving a first indicator, which corresponds to a physical characteristic of the user as monitored by the user monitor device; identifying a threshold value for the first indicator; comparing the first indication and the first threshold; generating a second indication when the comparison indicates that the first indication equals or exceeds the first threshold; and displaying or transmitting the second indication.

a receiver module configured to receive a plurality of indicators from a user monitor device distinct from the receiver module, the plurality of indicators including at least one indicator corresponding to a physical condition of the user and a location indicator corresponding to a geographical location of the user as monitored by the user monitor device; a computer processor configured to identify a boundary for the location indicator, the boundary including a plurality of geographical locations dynamically configurable by the computer processor, compare the location indicator and the boundary, and generate a second indication comprising the location indicator and the at least one indicator corresponding to a physical condition when the comparison indicates that the boundary has been crossed by the user; and a transmitter configured to transmit the second indication. - View Dependent Claims (19, 20)
