- a pixel portion including a plurality of pixels;
a display switching function portion configured to display an image based on light emitted from the pixel portion, the display switching function portion is capable of switching between a three-dimensional display of the image and a two-dimensional display of the image; and
a sensor portion configured to detect whether or not an object comes into contact with the sensor portion or approaches the sensor portion,wherein;
the pixel portion includes an organic electroluminescent layer and a common electrode in this order above a plurality of pixel electrodes,the display switching function portion includes a function layer and a driving electrode in this order above a counter electrode, the function layer allows an emission angle or an emission area of a light beam to vary in response to an applied voltage, andthe sensor portion includes a detection electrode above the driving electrode, a capacitative element being between the driving electrode and the detection electrode,a driving circuit is configured to output a sensor driving signal to the driving electrode during the three-dimensional display and during the two-dimensional display, the driving circuit is configured to output a 3D display driving signal to the driving electrode during the three-dimensional display at a pulse width that is longer than a pulse width of the sensor driving signal and to output a 2D display driving signal to the driving electrode during the two-dimensional display at a pulse width that is longer than the pulse width of the sensor driving signal.
