1. A magnification eyeglass system comprising:
- a frame;
a headlight assembly configured to be attached to the frame, said headlight assembly comprising;
a housing containing therein;
at least one lighting element, andat least one lens at a distal end of the housing wherein the at least one lighting element is positioned within the housing in line with an optical axis of the at least one lens, anda battery assembly comprising;
a battery pod containing a battery therein, the battery configured to output a voltage; and
a lower assembly, physically attached to the housing on a first end and in contact with the battery pod on an opposite end, wherein the battery pod is removably attachable to the lower assembly, the lower assembly comprising;
a sensing element configured to;
transmit an infra-red (IR) signal; and
detect a reflection of the transmitted IR signal; and
an electronic circuit configured to;
receive an indication of the detected reflection of the transmitted IR signal;
receive a voltage from the battery; and
control an application of the voltage to the at least one lighting element based on a current state of the at least one lighting element in response to the received indication.
