1. An intelligent security management system for expediting security inspection of individuals, the system comprising:
- at least one database comprising one or more data records corresponding to each individual being inspected, each of the one or more data records comprising characteristic electromagnetic field data of said each individual, wherein the characteristic electromagnetic field data comprises a plurality of screening signatures indicative of different clothing patterns for each individual at different times of a day or at different times of a year; and
one or more security checkpoints comprising a first level of security inspection and a second level of security inspection, wherein the first level of security inspection comprises at least one inspection device configured to collect inspection data of said each individual, said at least one inspection device being in data communication with the at least one database and configured to compare the inspection data of each individual collected by the inspection device with the characteristic electromagnetic field data of the individual stored in the database and account for differences between the inspection data and characteristic electromagnetic field data based on at least said clothing patterns, wherein the at least one inspection device is configured to exempt an individual from the second level of security inspection based on comparing the inspection data of said individual with said characteristic electromagnetic field data.

Abstract
The present specification describes a smart security management system for managing the flow of people through security checkpoints in order to optimize overall throughput and efficiency. In an embodiment, the system includes a centralized database which is connected to a plurality of security checkpoints and which uses benchmark response data generated by a specific type of screening devices for a set of individuals. In an embodiment, the response data gathered by similar types of screening devices located at security checkpoints is compared with the benchmark response data stored in a centralized database to provide faster security clearance to individuals.

10. A method of inspecting an individual at a security checkpoint having a first level of security inspection and a second level of security inspection, the method comprising:

pre-screening the individual to obtain a characteristic electromagnetic field data of the individual, wherein the characteristic electromagnetic field data comprises a plurality of screening signatures indicative of different clothing patterns for the individual at different times of a day or at different times of a year; storing the characteristic electromagnetic field data in a database; using the first level of security inspection, inspecting the individual to obtain an inspection data of the individual, wherein said inspection data comprises inspection electromagnetic field data; using the first level of security inspection, comparing the inspection data with the stored characteristic electromagnetic field data and accounting for differences between the inspection data and characteristic electromagnetic field data based on at least said clothing patterns; and using the first level of security inspection, exempting the individual from the second level of security inspection if the inspection electromagnetic field data lies within a predetermined range of the characteristic electromagnetic field data. - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
