1. A nasal continuous positive airway pressure (nCPAP) device comprising:

  • a body having a proximal end and a distal end, a chamber at the proximal end of the body, and a first passage extending from the chamber through the distal end of the body;

    a plurality of nozzles, each having an outlet end that projects into the first passage, between the chamber and the distal end of the body, the plurality of nozzles arranged to direct a fluid flow into the first passage such that the fluid flow from each nozzle impinges upon each other and combines to flow through the first passage toward the distal end of the body;

    wherein an opposing fluid flow through the first passage from the distal end toward the proximal end of the body redirects the fluid flow from each nozzle to flow toward the chamber.
