the crossbow cable saver comprising;
a cable engagement portion designed to engage at least one of the one or more cables; and
,a main beam engagement portion designed to engage the main beam and comprising;
a first surface, a second surface, and a pivot surface that is positioned between the first and second surfaces and that defines a pivot axis;
wherein the cable saver is operable, when properly positioned within the main beam slot, to pivot about the pivot axis with respect to the main beam between;
1) a first position where the first surface contacts the main beam and the second surface does not contact the main beam; and
2) a second position where the second surface contacts the main beam and the first surface does not contact the main beam.
