1. A tire tracking label comprising:
- at least one face layer;
optionally, at least one primer layer;
at least one adhesive layer comprising unsaturated rubber, wherein upon contact between the adhesive layer and a green rubber-based article, and subsequent vulcanization of the rubber-based article, the adhesive crosslinks with the rubber to thereby form a permanent bond between the label and the rubber-based article; and
at least one RFID component.

72. A method of identifying a rubber-based article, the method comprising:
