Network detection for content synchronization and reporting
First Claim
1. A method of communicating with mobile devices located at an event venue comprising:
- providing a plurality of mobile devices, said mobile devices having a screen and capable of detecting a unique wireless signal with an application loaded on the mobile device and said mobile devices have presentation files loaded in the mobile devices, and said mobile device has an internal clock;
providing at least one emitting station which transmits at least one unique wireless network signal over a range of area identified with a unique network identifier;
encoding said unique wireless network signals with a set of instructions in the network identifier to access and display the presentation on the screen of the mobile devices comprising a timestamp depicting the start time of the presentation;
said mobile devices detecting the encoded unique wireless signals, but not connecting to the network, when the mobile devices are located in the range of the emitting stations;
said application loaded on the mobile device recognizing the encoded wireless network signal, decoding the instructions encoded in the network identifier and executing instructions;
whereas when said application displays said presentation, the application will compare the timestamp in the instructions with the current time as indicated by the internal clock in the mobile device and begin playing the presentation at a point midway through the presentation file, based on the elapsed time between the timestamp and the actual time.

Abstract
The present invention utilizes an application which is loaded onto the mobile devices of attendees who will be attending festivals, concerts, etc, where the large crowds attending the event will create wireless and mobile network congestion. The application will be preloaded with a plurality of presentations which the presenter will utilize during the event to enhance the experience for the attendee. Each presentation will have a triggering mechanism encoded in the app which will initiate the presentation to begin and will synchronize the presentation on the phone with event. In addition to displaying preloaded presentations to the attendees at crowded events, the application can also track the activities of the attendees at the event to see what portions of the events they attended and when, and display real time text messages on the screen of the phone.

2. A method for communicating with a mobile device at an event venue where two way wireless communication is not feasible comprising:
-
providing a software application to be uploaded to a mobile device with an internal clock to event attendees prior to the event, said software application configured to execute specific instructions when the device sees a wireless network with a specifically configured network identifier; providing presentation files to be uploaded to a mobile device to event attendees prior to the event; erecting a plurality of emitting stations at the event venue and transmitting wireless network signals; configuring the wireless network signals so that attendee mobile devices can only see network identifiers transmitted from the emitting stations and not connect to the wireless network; using a controlling station to create unique network identifiers to be transmitted by the emitting stations that contain executable instructions that can be deciphered by the software application uploaded to the attendees mobile devices comprising a timestamp and instructions for said software application to access and display the presentation on the screen of the mobile devices; activating the application software on the event attendees mobile devices when the attendees arrive at the venue; during the event, transmitting network identifiers from the emitting stations configured with instructions for the software application installed on the mobile devices of the event attendees to execute which allows the event promoter to communicate with the attendees via their mobile devices; wherein the software application will compare the timestamp in the instructions with the current time as indicated by the internal clock in the mobile device and begin playing the presentation at a point midway through the presentation file, based on the elapsed time between the timestamp and the actual time.
