1. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving sidelink control information (SCI) associated with a remote vehicle;
identifying a threat metric associated with the remote vehicle based at least in part on one or more characteristics of the remote vehicle,wherein the threat metric indicates a degree to which the remote vehicle presents a threat to a vehicle associated with the UE, andwherein the one or more characteristics are determined based at least in part on vehicle information received in one or more transport blocks corresponding to previously received SCI associated with the remote vehicle and received prior to the SCI;
processing the SCI based at least in part on the threat metric; and
transmitting information associated with the processed SCI to influence an operation of the vehicle associated with the UE.

In some aspects, a user equipment may receive sidelink control information (SCI) associated with a remote vehicle; identify a threat metric associated with the remote vehicle based at least in part on one or more characteristics of the remote vehicle, wherein the one or more characteristics are determined based at least in part on vehicle information received in one or more transport blocks corresponding to prior SCI associated with the remote vehicle and received prior to the SCI; and process the SCI based at least in part on the threat metric.
