Amorphous metal current collector
First Claim
1. A cell comprising a cathode and an anode separated from each other by a separator, said cell further including an electrolyte and two current collectors so that the anode and the cathode are each arranged between the separator and a current collector, wherein the two current collectors are made of an at least partially amorphous material including at least one metallic element, wherein a peripheral edge of one of the current collectors is in direct contact with or welded to the separator.
