1. A drive assist system, comprising:

  • circuitry configured to;

    obtain information including at least one of acceleration/deceleration information and direction-of-travel information from a memory that stores at least one of the acceleration/deceleration information provided in relation to at least one of a set of a plurality of sections of a road and the direction-of-travel information provided in relation to at least one of the set of the plurality of sections of the road, the acceleration/deceleration information including a plurality of different pieces of acceleration/deceleration information including first acceleration/deceleration information and second acceleration/deceleration information with regard to one identical section of the plurality of sections of the road, the direction-of-travel information including a plurality of different pieces of direction-of-travel information including first direction-of-travel information and second direction-of-travel information with regard to the one identical section of the plurality of sections of the road;

    obtain location information of a vehicle; and

    perform at least one of an acceleration/deceleration drive assist with regard to acceleration and/or deceleration of the vehicle based on the location information and the acceleration/deceleration information, and a direction drive assist with regard to a direction of travel of the vehicle based on the location information and the direction-of-travel information, whereinthe circuitry is configured to use at least one of the first acceleration/deceleration information and the first direction-of-travel information in response to the circuitry recognizing a current section of the road that is presently ahead of the vehicle in a current direction-of-travel of the vehicle is a section of the road that is in an expressway mainline, andthe circuitry is configured to use at least one of the second acceleration/deceleration information and the second direction-of-travel information in response to the circuitry recognizing the current section of the road that is presently ahead of the vehicle in the current direction-of-travel of the vehicle is a section of the road that is oriented toward an expressway exit.
