1. A non-transitory storage medium storing computer-readable instructions, which when executed, cause a first computing device to:

  • automatically launch a new application by the first computing device, wherein the launch of the new application is a first execution of the new application on the first computing device;

    after the launch, execute the new application to automatically obtain data from the first computing device, wherein the data comprises an identifier of a user;

    send the data to a second computing device configured to provide a service associated with the first computing device, wherein the user accesses an account associated with the service in order to receive the service on the first computing device, wherein the second computing device is further configured to initiate the service in response to receiving the identifier, wherein the account is based on the identifier, and wherein the account resides entirely on the first computing device; and

    after the user accesses the account, receive parameters for configuration of the service, and send the parameters to the second computing device.
