- a memory having stored thereon instructions; and
a processor configured to execute the instructions to cause a wireless communication station (STA) to;
encode a stream of data symbols into first and second encoded streams according to a Space-Time-Block-Code (STBC) encoding scheme by encoding a data symbol in the stream of data symbols into a pair of encoded data symbols to be included in the first and second encoded streams, respectively; and
transmit a Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) transmission based on the first and second encoded streams by hybrid beamforming over a Directional Multi-Gigabit (DMG) channel, the hybrid beamforming comprising baseband beamforming and antenna beamforming of an antenna configuration.
