10. A method of manufacturing a display device, the method comprising:

forming, on a base, a drive element and an auxiliary electrode layer; forming a first insulating layer to cover the drive element and the auxiliary electrode layer; forming a first opening on a portion of the first insulating layer to expose an end surface of the auxiliary electrode layer; selectively forming a first electrode layer on the first insulating layer; forming a second insulating layer on the first insulating layer, wherein the second insulating layer comprises a second opening at a first position that corresponds to the first electrode layer and a third opening at a second position that corresponds to an auxiliary wiring line layer, and wherein the third opening is in communication with the first opening; forming an organic light-emitting layer to cover the first electrode layer without covering the end surface of the auxiliary electrode layer; and forming a second electrode layer to cover both the organic light-emitting layer and the end surface of the auxiliary electrode layer, wherein an angle between a straight line and a direction that is perpendicular to a surface of the base is one of 45°
