1. A communication system, comprising:
- a light source to generate light and a light connector fitting a T-5, T-8, or T-12 fluorescent tube or a light connector fitting an incandescent bulb, wherein the connector provides data communication and operation of the light source, the connector coupled to a wired circuit for communicating with a database for parameters and environmental conditions for predetermined positions or zones of a structure for individual periods of time and dates, wherein the light source is in thermal contact with a cooling liquid;
a broadband light transmitter control electronics to modulate the light signal and provide broadband optical data transmission network over 1 Mbps using the light source;
a broadband light receiver control electronics to demodulate a received light signal from the broadband optical data transmission network; and
a wired network transceiver coupled to the connector to receive and transmit data between the optical data transmission network and the wired circuit.
