1. A method of making a catalyst, the method comprising:
- a) adding at least one compound into an aqueous mixture that contains essentially no structure directing agent and essentially no porogen to form a solution, wherein the at least one compound is selected from the group consisting of;
(i) a compound of Formula [Z1Z2SiCH2]3 (Ia), wherein each Z1 represents a C1-C4 alkoxy group and each Z2 represents a C1-C4 alkoxy group or a C1-C4 alkyl group; and
(ii) a cyclic compound of Formula
