1. A system including a graphical user interface for displaying characteristics of target tissue during an ablation procedure, the system comprising:

  • an electronic control unit (ECU) configured to;

    receive a signal indicative of a contact force measured between a first electrode and the target tissue for a time period, wherein the time period is a time during which ablation energy is applied to the target tissue;

    receive at least one characteristic of the target tissue;

    measure a temperature during the time period;

    determine a predicted depth value of a lesion in the target tissue based on each of the following;

    i) the time period, ii) the signal indicative of the contact force, and iii) the temperature;

    associate the predicted depth value with the at least one characteristic of the target tissue; and

    output the predicted depth value; and

    a display device operatively connected to the ECU, wherein the display device is configured to receive the predicted depth value and display a visual representation of the predicted depth value and one or more colors associated with the predicted depth value of the lesion in the target tissue for the time period.
