Apparatus and associated methods for analyte detection
First Claim
1. An apparatus comprising a plurality of first elongate electrodes separated from and electrically coupled to a plurality of second transversely oriented elongate electrodes by an electrolyte, the plurality of transversely oriented first and second electrodes forming an array of respective electrochemical sensor nodes at the spaced crossings thereof, wherein the first electrodes are configured such that the interaction of an analyte from a surrounding environment with the first electrode at a sensor node affects an electrical property of the sensor node, andwherein the apparatus comprises respective terminals connected to each electrode for electrical connection to a measurement circuit to enable determination of the presence and/or amount of analyte at a particular sensor node based on a measurement of the electrical property of that sensor node.
