1. A device comprising:
- a reel that rotates and winds up a wound length of an elongate member; and
a limiter that limits reel rotation after the reel winds up the wound length, wherein;
the limiter comprises a tether connected to the reel through a line connector,the reel winds up the tether until, when taut, the tether prevents further rotation,the tether has a total length greater than a consumable length and the consumable length corresponds to the wound length, andthe tether has reference markings indicating different consumable lengths corresponding to different wound lengths, the consumable lengths set by consuming the tether up to the reference markings indicating an amount of remaining consumable length, which corresponds to the wound length.
