  • a rotor, the rotor comprising at least one impeller blade rotatable about an axis of rotation and configured to convey a fluid in operation, the rotor having a compressed state and an expanded state; and

a support device coupled to the at least one impeller blade at an outer radial edge of the at least one impeller blade, wherein the support device is changeable between a first state in which the support device is radially compressed associated with the compressed state of the rotor and a second state in which the support device is radially expanded associated with the expanded state of the rotor; and

wherein the at least one impeller blade extends at least partly radially inwardly with respect to the axis of rotation from the support device in the radially expanded state of the rotor, and wherein the support device is configured as a ring at least partly surrounding the at least one impeller blade, a longitudinal axis of the ring parallel to the axis of rotation.
