1. A method of controlling a medicament delivery device for the administration of one or more drug agents, wherein the device has a plurality of states including a predetermined state, the method comprising:

  • determining that the device is in the predetermined state;

    responsive to determining that the device is in the predetermined state, setting the device in a priming mode and disabling a drug delivery mode during said predetermined state, wherein the priming mode is for priming the device and the drug delivery mode is for administering delivery of a dose of the one or more drug agents;

    determining that the device is in a state different than the predetermined state;

    responsive to determining that the device is in a state different than the predetermined state, setting the device in the drug delivery mode while maintaining enablement of the priming mode;

    facilitating selection, via a user interface, between the priming mode and the drug delivery mode when the device is in said state different than the predetermined state, wherein the user interface is configured to provide a first selectable option for priming the device and a second selectable option for delivering a dose; and

    responsive to determining that the device is in the predetermined state, providing on the user interface the first selectable option and not the second selectable option to thereby set the device in a mandatory priming mode.
