1. A camera module for a vehicular vision system, said camera module comprising:

  • a housing comprising an upper housing portion and a lower housing portion, wherein said housing, with said upper housing portion connected to said lower housing portion, houses at least (i) an imager assembly and (ii) electronic circuitry disposed at at least two printed circuit boards (PCBs);

    wherein said imager assembly comprises an imager;

    wherein said imager comprises a two dimensional array of rows and columns of photosensing elements;

    wherein said imager comprises at least one million photosensing elements;

    wherein said imager assembly comprises a lens barrel that houses at least one lens;

    wherein one of the electronic components of said electronic circuitry disposed at a first PCB of said at least two PCBs comprises said imager;

    wherein a second PCB of said at least two PCBs has an upper side and a lower side, and wherein electronic components of said electronic circuitry are disposed at said upper side of said second PCB and at said lower side of said second PCB;

    wherein said lower side of said second PCB opposes said lower housing portion and said upper side of said second PCB opposes said upper housing portion;

    wherein said imager assembly comprises a flexible cable that, when connected to a connector at said lower side of said second PCB, connects electronic components of said electronic circuitry disposed at said first PCB with electronic components of said electronic circuitry disposed at said second PCB;

    wherein an electronic component of said electronic circuitry is in thermal conductivity with a thermal element, and wherein said thermal element is in thermal conductivity with said housing;

    wherein said thermal element is disposed at said first PCB, and wherein a first portion of said thermal element is engaged with and in thermal conductivity with an electronic component disposed at said first PCB, and wherein a second portion of said thermal element is in thermal conductivity with said upper housing portion of said housing;

    wherein said thermal element comprises a thermally conductive material that enhances heat transfer from the electronic component to said housing; and

    wherein said camera module is configured to attach at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle equipped with the vehicular vision system, and wherein, with said camera module attached at the in-cabin side of the windshield, said imager views through the windshield forward of the equipped vehicle.
