1. A catheter pump comprising:

  • an expandable sleeve defining a fluid flow path and comprising a mesh and an elastic coating applied over the mesh, wherein the mesh includes voids disposed in a cylindrical body and the elastic coating covers the voids to form a fluid flow pipe, said fluid flow path disposed between inlets and outlets of the pump, the expandable sleeve configured to collapse from a deployed configuration to a stored configuration;

    an impeller comprising a hub and a plurality of impeller blades supported thereby, the plurality of impeller blades arranged in at least two blade rows arranged axially along the hub to enable collapse of the plurality of impeller blades from the deployed configuration to the stored configuration, the impeller positioned within at least a portion of the expandable sleeve and configured to induce a fluid flow along the fluid flow path when in the deployed configuration, wherein each blade row of the at least two blade rows comprises a plurality of blades; and

    a plurality of vanes disposed in the fluid flow path and configured to remove swirl velocity of the fluid flow when the expandable sleeve and the plurality of impeller blades are in the deployed configuration.
