determine a first set of hole cards for a first poker game;
determine an odds for a first wager based on a state of a deck from which the first set of hole cards was dealt;
receive the first wager made by a first player, in which the first wager is based on only the flop of the first poker game, in which the first wager may be won and lost independently of a wager on the overall outcome of the first poker game;
determine the flop of the first poker game;
determine whether the first wager is a winning wager based on the flop of the first poker game; and
present an indication of whether the first wager is a winning wager.
