1. An LED lighting module comprising:
- at least one LED;
the LED lighting module being configured to be connected to an LED driver module, the LED driver module comprising a converter for converting a power supply voltage into an LED driver module electrical output power for powering the at least one LED of the LED lighting module and a controller for controlling the converter,wherein the LED lighting module is configured to be powered by the LED driver module and wherein the LED lighting module does not comprise a converter for powering the at least one LED, andwherein the LED lighting module further comprises;
an electrical power terminal, electrically connected to the LED, the electrical power terminal for electrically connecting the LED to the LED driver module to power the at least one LED from the LED driver module electrical output power as received from the LED driver module;
a storage device for storing data in relation to the LED; and
a data processing device, electrically connected to the storage device for storing data in the storage device and reading data therefrom, the data processing device being arranged and connected for providing data communication via at least one of the electrical power terminal and the LED;
wherein the data processing device is in a circuit connection with the LED for controlling a light output of the LED.

at least one LED; the LED lighting module being configured to be connected to an LED driver module, the LED driver module comprising a converter for converting a power supply voltage into an LED driver module electrical output power for powering the at least one LED of the LED lighting module and a controller for controlling the converter, wherein the LED lighting module is configured to be powered by the LED driver module and wherein the LED lighting module does not comprise a converter for powering the at least one LED, wherein the LED lighting module further comprises; an electrical power terminal, electrically connected to the LED, the electrical power terminal for electrically connecting the LED to the LED driver module to power the at least one LED from the LED driver module electrical output power as received from the LED driver module; a storage device for storing data in relation to the LED; and a data processing device, electrically connected to the storage device for storing data in the storage device and reading data therefrom, the data processing device being arranged and connected for providing data communication via at least one of the electrical power terminal and the LED, wherein the data processing device is arranged to provide optical data transmission by the LED lighting module by; sending an instruction signal via the electrical power terminal to the driver module, the instruction signal to make the driver module drive the LED accordingly to optically transmit the data. - View Dependent Claims (28)
