1. A rotating machine abnormality detection device for detecting an abnormality in a rotating machine including a rotary member rotatable about a predetermined axis, comprising:
- an ultrasonic wave measuring section for measuring a vibration in an ultrasonic wave band caused by the rotary member;
an abnormality detecting section for detecting an initial abnormality in the rotating machine based on first measurement data obtained by the ultrasonic wave measuring section; and
a vibration measuring section for measuring a vibration in an audible band caused by the rotary member, whereinthe abnormality detecting section determines, after detecting the initial abnormality, at least one of an abnormality type and an abnormality degree based on second measurement data obtained by the vibration measuring section,the rotary member includes a pair of sub rotary members engageable with each other, and a casing housing the pair of sub rotary members,abnormality types include a first abnormality in which the sub rotary members come into contact with each other, and a second abnormality in which at least one of the sub rotary members comes into contact with the casing, andthe ultrasonic wave measuring section and the vibration measuring section are mounted on an outer surface of the casing.

A rotating machine abnormality detection method for detecting an abnormality in a rotating machine including a rotary member rotatable about a predetermined axis, the rotary member including a pair of sub rotary members engageable with each other, and a casing housing the pair of sub rotary members, the method comprising:

an ultrasonic wave measuring step of measuring a vibration in an ultrasonic wave band caused by the rotary member using an ultrasonic wave measuring section mounted on an outer surface of the casing; an abnormality detecting step of detecting an initial abnormality in the rotating machine based on first measurement data obtained in the ultrasonic wave measuring step; a vibration measuring step of measuring a vibration in an audible band caused by the rotary member using a vibration measuring section mounted on an outer surface of the casing; and a second abnormality detecting step of determining, after detecting the initial abnormality, at least one of an abnormality type and an abnormality degree based on second measurement data obtained in the vibration measuring step, abnormality types including a first abnormality in which the sub rotary members come into contact with each other, and a second abnormality in which at least one of the sub rotary members comes into contact with the casing.
