1. A method of treating a wound with reduced pressure, the method comprising:

  • applying a three-dimensional film material to a wound, the three-dimensional film material having a plurality of passages defined between a male face and an opposite female face thereof, wherein the three-dimensional film material is positioned such that the male face is in contact with the wound, and wherein each of the passages includes an aperture at an apex oriented on the male face and a base oriented on the female face; and

    supplying vacuum from a vacuum source in fluid communication with the three-dimensional film material to apply a negative pressure through the plurality of passages to the wound to stimulate healing of the wound.
