1. An information processing apparatus comprising:

  • a distance sensor; and

a processor device to control at least one of a framework or an information density of one or more objects to be manipulated by a user in a user interface based on a determination of (i) a change in position of the user with respect to a display unit of the apparatus and (ii) a state of the user, by detecting at least one information signal input to the apparatus from outside of the apparatus, wherein the processor device performs at least one of (i) controlling selection of an object to be displayed on the user interface of a display screen of the display unit based on a determination of whether a position of the user is a position at which the user can be personally authenticated, and (ii) adjusting an input unit of the user interface based on the determination of whether the position of the user is a position at which the user can be personally authenticated, wherein the determination of whether the position of the user is a position at which the user can be personally authenticated is based on a signal from the distance sensor such that when the signal from the distance sensor indicates that the user is at a distance from the apparatus that is greater than, or equal to, a first distance and less than, or equal to, a second distance, the position of the user is a position at which the user can be personally authenticated, andwherein the processor device controls random display of various objects including network contents acquired via the Internet, E-Mails or program contents of a TV broadcast on the user interface in an overlapping manner, when the user is present but not watching the display screen, and wherein the processor device controls display of the various objects in a non-overlapping manner by dividing the screen into stages and controls the information density of the various objects, when the user is watching the display screen but not manipulating the information processing apparatus.
