8. A system comprising:
-
a processor configured to; manage a queue of entities designated to receive notification when a charging point within the queue is available for use; notify an entity in the queue when the charging point is determined to be available for use; receive acceptance of charging point usage from the notified entity; reserve the charging point, for a limited time-period, for use by the notified entity upon receipt of the acceptance; receive updated GPS coordinates corresponding to the notified entity; and extend the limited time-period based on an indication, determined by the updated GPS coordinates, that the notified entity is attempting to use the charging point. - View Dependent Claims (9, 10, 11, 12)

13. A system comprising:
-
a processor configured to; establish communication between a beacon-detecting device and a beacon, one of which identifies a charging entity and the other of which identifies a charging point; determine that the entity is attempting to use the charging point, based on the communication; verify the entity as permitted to use the charging point based on a preassigned association; notify the entity and offer to add the entity to a queue, when verification fails. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15)
